I like the armor slot idea.
/signed for that
But for the not taking inventory (weapon/armor) I have to say no. While I agree we do need more space, this loses alot of the realism. And in a fantasy RPG we dont have much. Perhaps something like the Horadric Cube,
http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/i...rat/cube01.jpg
It takes up one space holds 15 (more than the original) It works like the mini moa box kina. BUT only armor can go in it, make another for weapons, and make them cost Time and money. Like the mini moa box, you cant just buy one off a player you have to craft it and its custom for that char. This promotes more play, might sell more games for those who dont own all of em. And wouldnt be all that hard to do. Its a bag with 5 extra slots.

Pre-set armor buttons like we have for weps would be nice... I agree though it's not very sensible for them to not take up space.
A slight twist on the idea - since we have 4 slots for Weapon Sets, how about making 2 of them for Armor Sets? That way you could have F1 &F2 for Weapons and F3 & F4 for Armor. That way you could swap on the run, but you still would have to plan a little before leaving town as you only have 2 options for your armor and weapons slots (each). hope that made sense...

Go to the 'Armor System v3' thread.
They have all said there.
Whatever it is, the best solution for storage is removing the need for it. And if you unlock the armor instead of buying it, there you are. People buy more armors since they will ner lose the previous due to storage lackings.
Both an user friendly feature and a gold sink.

I thought someone with an IQ higher than 100 would be able to figure out how to quote people on a forum and not triple post (or delete them).
Ups. I guess you can't beat the average person.
I may be wrong, because I did get a 60 on that IQ test

Wow, triple post FTL. I remember reading the same topics about a day or two ago. You probably could've found 'em in the first two pages.
Just get an extra character slot or stop hoarding items you don't need / use. If you really look, you'll probably find a lot of stuff you could afford to sell or merch, and buy back later.

more storage = good
more useful goldsinks = good
Increasing storage as a goldsink makes a lot of sense.
(obvious idea posted for 3 years everywhere)
I would pay 100k per storage tab!
pricings however should be made accessible for majority of players, like first tab 10k, next 20k, then 40k, 80k, 100k, 100k, 100k... Those who need so much storage should be able to afford that.
Having 10 separate mules and having to log in and out repeately just to swap an armor set or find that weapon is ridiculous. Seriously improved storage solution is needed. Storage imrovements as a goldsink is just one way to do it, a pretty obvious and good way. Other ways may be an interface update allowing to open inventories of your other characters through Xunlai storage, this would encourage people to buy more char slots for mules.

The Definitive Storage Thread
The Definitive Storage Thread
This thread is being created in a bid to try to centralise all discussion relating to wanting more storage. Sardelac has always had a policy of requesting that forum users do not post new threads on previously suggested topics. With that in mind, previous threads relating to storage will be merged with this one, and any other storage-related discussion should be carried out here. Any new threads on this subject will be merged with this thread, or closed.
Please keep discussions civilised, and within the Sardelac Sanitarium Guidelines. Thank You.
In time, this thread may be closed and a new, thoroughly organised thread opened in it's place. For the time being however, below are links to other ideas which were merged with this thread:
Apologies to anyone who had posts deleted, I'm cleaning up a bit as I merge threads, as this is the "definitive" storage thread, there is no need for the "Use Search" posts.

/signed. I often want to swap between various armour sets. What would be great is linking this with a weapon and templates. That would be the ultimate.

It would be nice to have a larger storage.
All items of the same type (except weapons and armor) should stack like mats do.
We should have a seperate storage for armor and weapons like tabs 1-4 are armor storage and tabs 4-8 are weapons and other storage, and tap 9 is the mat storage
Anet could make so much more money if the made the in game store sell extra storage tabs for like 5-10 bucks.

It's fine as it is ~.~ Sell stuff if storage gets full, or give it away to people who need it.

None of the Above.
We do not ned more slots to hoard stuff. We need a way to get things without having to store them:
- Traders, so things are stored in them until we need them. (like runes, dyes, scrolls...)
- Unlocking items, so you have to acquire them once, and them be able to delete and recreate them anytime needed (like hats and /bonus items...)
- Better market system. An item that is sold soon is an item that does not use storage space.
Currently, the greatest issues in storage are:
- Weapon upgrades: They should have a trader.
- Armor: They should be unlocked once like hats.
- Weapons: There should be a better trade system to sell them (Like the... oh... I love to say this: Xunlai Marketplace).
That's what we need. Not more slots that will also get filled sooner or later.

Storage related ideas have been pooled in a new thread which can be found here
This thread ended up getting too messy, and too difficult to manage and organise, so I've decided to close it, if you wish to discuss storage, or propose new storage ideas, please use the new thread.
